In this Android app, a translation of holy writings from the Tawrat (توراة) and Injeel (إنجيل) is now available in the Dhivehi language (ދިވެހި ބަސް), the national language of the Republic of Maldives. It is also the language of Minicoy Island in Lakshadweep, a Union Territory of India, where it is known as Mahl or Mahal.Read for yourself the Dhivehi (Maldivian) translation of the true stories of Adam (އާދަމްގެފާނު) & Eve (ޙައްވާގެފާނު), Noah (ނޫޙުގެފާނު), Abraham (އިބްރާހީމުގެފާނު) & Sarah (ސާރާ), Ishmael (އިސްމާޢީލްގެފާނު), Joseph (ޔޫސުފުގެފާނު) and many others in the book of Genesis (ފެށުން). This app contains an embedded Thaana font, and a simple built-in Thaana keyboard for searching for words in the text. (The Thaana script is unique to Maldives.)
This is an offline app, completely self-contained. It does not need Internet access, or any special permissions.
This is still a testing version, and it is FREE for those who download it at the current stage.
