This app allows you to view information about Cyanogen* OS System updates, and to download them to your phone.This is realized using update information provided by Cyanogen*. The app requires an active internet connection.
When a new update becomes available, you'll receive a notification of it. You may then open the app to download your new system update.
Additionally, this app provides a short overview about your phone specs, including your current Android version, the amount of memory (RAM), and the processor in your phone.
During the initial launch, you will be asked to select your phone and your update method.
The following phones are currently supported:
- OnePlus One
- Yu Yureka
- Oppo N1 Cyanogenmod Edition
When a new device is added, you'll automatically receive a notification. You may then open the app to select the new device, the app doesn't even have to be updated!
There are two different update methods:
- Full update: An update package that always works - regardless of your current OS version (RECOMMENDED).
- Incremental update: An update package that only works if you were running the latest version before this update was released (Smaller download sizes)
NOTE: This app will *NOT* auto-update your device. It does however include a tutorial showing how you can manually apply the downloaded updates. This update process will not wipe your phone. It is recommended to read the tutorial first to avoid making a mistake during the update process.
